バビネの原理(Babinet Principle)

白地に黒の水玉模様と黒字に白の水玉模様では、見た目やインパクトは結構ちがいますね。でも散乱では全く同じに見えてしまいます。これをバビネの原理といいます。白黒はっきりさせようとしても無駄ですね。
The appearance and impact of black polka dots on a white background and white polka dots on black are quite different. However, they look exactly the same in scattering. This is called the Babinet's principle. It is useless to try to make black and white clear.
