ギニエ則(Guinier law)

希薄粒子系の散乱で、小角散乱のなかでも非常に小角での散乱(Qの小さなところでの散乱)はギニエ則に従うことが知られています。ギニエ則とは、物体の形状に関係なく、散乱強度I(Q)がI(0)exp[-R_g^2 Q^2/3]で近似できることをいいます。ここで、R_gは物体の回転半径です。ギニエ則がわかるとあなたも散乱屋の仲間入りですね。

The Guinier rule states that the scattering intensity I(Q) can be approximated by I(0)exp[-R_g^2 Q^2/3] regardless of the shape of the object. where R_g is the radius of rotation of the object.
