Access to the conference site:

The conference site "Kyodai Kaikan" is near from Kyoto University in Kyoto City. Kyoto is the most historical city founded upon the Heian Capital, which was built in 794 AD. The streets were built according to grid plan of the capital. You can reach your goal only by assignment of the names of two crossing streets.

By air, the most convenient way to come to Kyoto city is arrival at Kansai international airport and taking limited express "HARUKA" to JR Kyoto station. Train from Kansai airport to Kyoto station takes about 75 minutes. It costs 3490 JPY including sheet reservation.
Arrival at Tokyo (Narita) international airport has to go to Kyoto via Tokyo. From Narita to Tokyo, "Narita express" will be used. It takes about 60 minutes and 2940 JPY including sheet reservation. From Tokyo to Kyoto you should take limited express "Shinkansen NOZOMI", which takes about 150 minutes and 13520 JPY including sheet reservation.

At Kyoto station, you can take Kyoto city bus to go to Kyoto University. Bus with route No.206 brings you to the front of Kyoto Univ. After you get off the bus at the bus stop named "Kyodai Seimon Mae" (main gate of Kyoto Univ.), you will walk to the conference site "Kyodai Kaikan" from the bus stop, taking 10 minutes. Bus with route No.17 brings you to the bus stop named "Koujin Guchi." You will cross the Kamogawa River and walk to the conference site, taking 10 minutes. Nearest bus stop to the center of the campus of Kyoto Univ. is "Hyakumanben." Of course, the most quick way from Kyoto station to the conference site is taking a taxi. You need not give a tip to the taxi driver in Japan.
